Eugen Coșeriu Philological Studies Center opened at USM

Chisinau, Oct. 21 /MOLDPRES/- Eugen Coșeriu Philological Studies Center within the Faculty of Letters was opened at the Moldova State University (USM) on 20 October. This is part of the modernization process of the institution, supported by the Romanian government.

The Center is meant for the organization and conduct of educational and cultural events: book launches, conferences and scientific seminars, as well as for the constant development and cooperation between researchers from our country and those from abroad, contributing to the consolidation of research in the university environment.

USM Rector Igor Șarov thanked the Romanian Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova for the constant contribution to the development of the institution's infrastructure and the promotion of Romanian culture.

The Department supports numerous projects from the State University, including the Newsroom for the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences, the furnishing and equipment of the Regina Maria Hall, the organization of the International Scientific Conference, the 6th edition etc.
