Moldova's Border Police sets tents with heating devices at Chisinau International Airport

Chisinau, 21 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Border Police today set tents with heating devices at the Chisinau International Airport.

According to the institution, the tents were placed for the cold period of the year. Thus, the first entrance is meant for passengers with minor children and the Airport’s staff without luggage. The second entrance is meant for all passengers with hand luggage and recorded luggage, which is to be subjected to security control.

The authority noted that the responsibility of connection to the energy source would be assigned to the airport agent.

At the same time, the Border Police asked passengers to come to the airport in advance, by at least three hours before flight, in order to quickly go through all control procedures.

Starting from last August, a scanner is set at the entrance into the airport and the security control is carried out. Also, the standing of vehicles outside the airport is banned and law-enforcers patrol the airport’s adjacent area and its territory.
