ANSA announced withdrawal of batch of organic mint from trade

Chisinau, Oct. 22 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) announced last night about the withdrawal from trade of a batch of organic mint infusions.

"Following the monitoring of the portal of the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed, the alert notification was received that provides for perchlorate contamination of organic mint infusions: "Big Bag Refreshing Mint" and "Leaf Bag Refreshing Mint", Julius Meint trademark. Thus, the official distributor of the products: Provitus Grup Ltd voluntarily recalls the following batches of products: "Big Bag Refreshing Mint" organic mint infusion - L220326, L220619, L220136; Leaf Bag Refreshing Mint organic mint infusion - L220376, L220377, L220763. The other Julius Meint products are not part of the recall process", said ANSA.

According to the Agency, consumers who bought one of these products are asked not to consume it and to return it to the store where they bought it, and they will be refunded its value. Presentation of the tax receipt is not required.
