Moldovan president attends greening action jointly with several children, young people, teachers

Chisinau, Oct. 22 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu was today together with several children, young people and teachers to collect oak acorns from Calarasi Codrii. Through this action, the participants joined the national greening campaign Plant your future, which aims to restore and expand forested areas in the Republic of Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

"I thank the interns from the Presidency and the students and teachers of the High School in the village of Bahmut and the High School Mihai Eminescu in the village of Sipoteni, who participated in the action. I urge each of you to get involved and, together, let's leave the coming generations a country with more forests and a healthier environment", Maia Sandu said.
