ASP presented most common driving exam mistakes

Chisinau, Oct. 24 /MOLDPRES/- The Public Services Agency (ASP) presented the most frequent mistakes made by candidates during the driving test, category B. The actions were reported in the first nine months of the year and were recorded by around 85% of people.
According to the ASP, it is about lack of signaling or incorrect signaling of the direction of travel, lack of synchronization of actions when starting/accelerating/braking (incorrect adaptation of gears, control devices or steering wheel).
At the same time, there are cases of loss of control over the vehicle and/or the examiner's intervention to avoid an imminent danger or the occurrence of a road accident. Non-compliance with road signs, signs or road markings is reported. Also, the candidates do not fall within the limits of the traffic lanes.
The statistical data will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Research, the Employers' Association Union of Driving Schools and Training Centers, as well as the teaching units to draw attention to the aspects during classes.
Since the beginning of this year, 41,346 people have registered for the theoretical test, of which 21,862 took the test on the first attempt (the pass rate being 52.9%). At the same time, 36,182 candidates registered for the practical test, of which 8,627 people took the exam in the first attempt (the pass rate being 23.8%).
