Woman from Dondușeni sentenced to six years in prison for child trafficking

Chisinau, Oct. 25 /MOLDPRES/- A woman from Dondușeni was sentenced to six years in prison for child trafficking through sexual exploitation.
According to the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS), the woman exploited a 17-year-old young woman who also had a small child to support.
Following operative information, the crime of child trafficking committed by the accused was uncovered, and she was detained and placed in preventive detention. Recently, the accused admitted her guilt, and the Chisinau Court sentenced her to prison for a term of six years and eight months.
