Over 600 cases of infection with COVID-19 registered in Moldova in last week

Chisinau, 25 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Ministry has informed about the registration of 622 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus in Moldova in the last week.

On this period, 20,863 tests were made and nine deaths were recorded.

Also in the last week, 218 people administered the first dose of anti-COVID vaccine and 702 made the booster. As many as 1,072,371 people have been vaccinated with the full scheme so far.

Starting from last July, citizens have been able to administer the dose Booster 2 of vaccine against COVID-19. At the same time, the immunization of children who turned 12 years is possible too.

Also, specialists recommend that the residents wear protection masks in crowded public spaces and in the public transport. At the same time, the wearing of masks is compulsory in the medical institutions.
