Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) on 2 November will urgently consider the operators’ demands and will adjust the regulated prices for electric energy, supplied to the end consumers, in line with the new acquisition prices and provisions of the tariff methodology.
ANRE said that, in the context of the energy crisis in Moldova and according to official statements of decision-makers from the sector, no contract on purchasing of electric energy was signed with the electric energy producer Молдавская ГРЭС (MGRES) for November.
„In these conditions, the stock company Energocom, the entity nominated with the duty of public service of buying electric energy, will have to cover this deficit through procurements on exchange platforms from Romania and the price of the electric energy purchased is at the level of the European market. Taking into account the present circumstances and the existing objective factors, ANRE will urgently consider the operators’ demands and will adjust the regulated prices for electric energy supplied to the end consumers, in accordance with the new acquisition prices and provisions of the tariff methodology,’’ the Agency said.
Also, ANRE reiterated the urge to rationally consume the energy resources, in order to reduce the impact both on the electric energy system and in the invoices of each family.
