Moldovan Prime Minister discussed with representatives of National Employers' Confederation

Chisinau, Nov. 4 /MOLDPRES/- Solutions to improve the activity of economic agents and future priorities for strengthening the dialogue between the Government and the business environment were discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and representatives of the National Confederation of Employers from the Republic of Moldova, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The sides emphasized the importance of maintaining an active dialogue to identify the necessary measures to support and develop the business environment and create jobs.
The official reiterated the intention of the authorities to ensure economic stability in the country and more predictability for those who manage businesses. In this context, the Prime Minister referred to the actions already taken by the Government to simplify and digitize the activity of entrepreneurs, reduce business costs to the maximum and provide access to the necessary infrastructure. Also, Natalia Gavrilița spoke about the state's support for small and medium-sized companies and the programs launched by the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship, which support business.
The participants in the discussions appreciated the actions taken by the Government recently, but also mentioned some areas that would require more attention, in their view. Among them were highlighted: the adoption of measures to facilitate the support of employees, the conditions for ensuring security and health in remote work, but also the way in which some state institutions interact with the business environment.
At the same time, the importance of urgently promoting the tax-customs policy for 2023, the harmonization of the Fiscal Code with the directives, in the context of obtaining the status of a candidate country for EU accession, but also the solution of problems related to the field of transport, was highlighted. At the same time, the personnel leasing mechanism was discussed, which would allow enterprises to manage human resources more efficiently in volatile periods, without having to resort to short-term hiring or layoffs.
The Prime Minister presented the Government's vision regarding the solution of the problems addressed, emphasizing that the measures to stimulate economic growth, as well as the creation of attractive jobs, will remain a priority for the Executive.
