Moldovan parliament joined national greening campaign

Chisinau, Nov. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu, MPs and employees of the Legislative Secretariat joined a national greening campaign -Plant your future, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

During the day, the Parliament team, represented by MPs, councilors, officials, planted oak acorns on an area of ​​two hectares on the territory of the Căpriana Forest Bypass in Străseni, thus contributing to the restoration of forested areas. "I urge you to contribute to the greening of communities and to plant trees in your own yards, public spaces or forests in the coming days. Acting together, we will succeed in restoring and expanding the forested areas", Grosu said.

The national campaign is organized by the Ministry of the Environment together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Infrastructure and the Moldsilva Agency. Throughout the day, extensive tree planting and forest seed sowing activities were carried out in several localities in the country.
