Author of several fake bomb ads caught, fined

Chisinau, Nov. 7 /MOLDPRES/- A teenager who announced on January 19-21, 2022 about the presence of explosives in the south of the country was convicted and ordered to pay a fine of 12 thousand lei (about 600 euros).

According to the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases, the complaints concerned locations in Ceadâr-Lunga, Comrat and Vulcănești - educational institutions, as well as a cemetery.

According to the file materials, when communicating by e-mail the false denunciations, the teenager pursued the goal of disrupting the activity of state institutions.

Recently, the Comrat Court published the decision, by which the teenager was sentenced to two years in prison, with the actual sentence suspended, as well as to the payment of 12,600 lei for the criminal procedural actions carried out in the case.
