Revenues of 73.1 billion lei accumulated at national budget

Chisinau, Nov. 7 /MOLDPRES/-  In first ten months of 2022, revenues of 73.1 billion lei (over 3.6 billion euros) were accumulated at the national public budget, up by 11.4 billion lei, compared to the same period of last year. The expenses amounted to 76.6 billion lei, up by 12.9 billion lei than in the same period of 2021, the Ministry of Finance has reported.

The execution of the national public budget ended with a deficit of 3.5 billion lei, and the balances of the monetary means in the accounts of the component budgets represented 13 billion lei. Respectively, the revenues of the state budget, in January - October 2022, amounted to 47.1 billion lei, increasing by 8.1 billion lei.

"Revenues administered by the State Fiscal Service amounted to 19.4 billion lei, 3.2 billion more than in the corresponding period of 2021, and revenues administered by the Customs Service amounted to 27.5 billion lei, being up by 4.7 billion compared to the same period last year. State budget expenditures were executed in the amount of 52.4 billion lei, higher by 10.1 billion lei compared to the same period last year. The execution of the state budget ended with a deficit of 5.3 billion lei, and the balances of the monetary means in the state budget accounts constituted 8.5 billion lei", the institution said.

The Ministry of Finance ensured the honoring of all payment commitments for January - October, all payments being fully financed. "The budget has sufficient financial resources, and there are no risks of non-execution/stoppage of the expenditures approved in the budget. The efficient management of public finances remains a top priority", said the Ministry of Finance.
