Moldovan fine artist exhibits works at Malsice Gallery from Czech Republic

Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition titled, Cherchez la femme (Look for Woman), by fine artist Teodor Buzu will be inaugurated at the Malsice Gallery from the homonymous town of the Czech Republic on 9 November.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Teodor Buzu said the exhibition was dedicated to the Woman in diverse hypostases: maternity, beauty, innocence, eternity, etc.
Teodor Buzu was born in the Drasliceni village, central Criuleni district, on 3 May 1960. In 1970-1977, he studied at the Igor Vieru Fine Arts Lyceums and in 1980-1085 – at the Academy of Design and Arts from Kharkiv, Ukraine. In Kharkiv, he met his future wife, Dagmar and settled in her Motherland, the Czech Republic, Tabor town. Teodor Buzu is member of the International Union of Professional Fine Artists, Association of Fine Artists from South Bohemia, Czech Republic, of the Group, Die Neuen Milben, Austria, the Union of Fine Artists from Prague and the one from Chisinau. Buzu makes easel paintings, graphic design, monumental art, graphic, illustration.
Teodor Buzu is Knight of Romania’s National Order of Merit, in rank of Commander (2003). He is laureate of more international awards.
The exhibition’s curator is Pavel Klima, fine artist, member of the Association of Fine Artists from South Bohemia. The event was carried out with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute from Prague and will be opened on 9 November – 22 December.
