Cahul maternity unuit renovated with US support

Chisinau, Nov. 9 /MOLDPRES/- The gynecology and pregnancy pathology section of the Cahul district hospital was renovated with the financial support of the government of the United States of America and was inaugurated yesterday.

Also, with the US support, the perinatal center of the medical institution was provided modern equipment, purchased by the UN Population Fund (UNFPA). The value of the donation is 175 thousand dollars.

Women from Cahul, as well as from the neighboring districts, Taraclia, Cantemir and Vulcănești benefit from medical assistance.

Cahul district hospital is the third public medical and sanitary institution equipped with high-performance medical equipment by the US Government and UNFPA.
