Balti buildings' heating infrastructure to be modernized

Chisinau, Nov. 10 /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova will benefit from non-refundable financing worth two million euros for the modernization of the heating infrastructure of the blocks in Balti municipality. MPs ratified today the grant agreement between our country and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for carrying out the project Thermal energy system of Bălți (CET-Nord).
The money will increase the quality of the services provided to the residents of Bălți by restoring the domestic hot water delivery system, implementing the intra-block horizontal distribution system, ensuring thermal comfort in buildings through the individual management of thermal energy consumption, optimizing operational costs, centralized control and monitoring / at a distance, increasing the operating time of machinery/equipment, reducing thermal energy losses.
Following the implementation of Phase II of the project, individual thermal points will be installed in 166 housing blocks. At the same time, in 296 residential blocks, the intrablock distribution system of the thermal agent and domestic hot water will be modernized.
