Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) records a tendency of stabilization and balancing of the level of prices for petrol and diesel. Thus, for 18 November, the maximal retail selling prices of the standard-type principal oil products will be: 26.69 lei/litre (about 1.3 euros) for COR-95 petrol (-0.14 lei); 26.96 lei/litre for standard diesel (-0.11 lei).
„After a period of about three months, when an atypical phenomenon was registered for the Moldovan market, through a significant exceeding of diesel’s selling price against the one for petrol, ANRE records a stabilization and a balancing of these two parameters. The concerned phenomenon is explained by the low supply of oil products on certain periods against the demand, triggered, to a great extent, by the regional developments and the war in Ukraine. Presently, we witness a repositioning of the traditional parity between the two types of fuels (petrol and diesel), which leads to a greater and greater rapprochement of the level of prices for them,’’ the Agency said.
According to ANRE, while in last October, the price for diesel got to be even by 3.77 lei higher than the one for petrol, then at present, this difference was gradually cut, reaching only 0.27 lei/litre and the price for the standard diesel will decrease below 27 lei for 18 November.
