Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita today introduced new Economics Minister Dumitru Alaiba to the ministry’s employees. The PM said that Dumitru Alaiba had the experience needed to continue the processes underway at the Economics Ministry, as he had been earlier involved in economic projects in his capacity of head of the parliament’s commission for economy, budget and finances, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
„We will continue together the actions underway and will work in team. We need unity and solidarity, in order to achieve our major goals – to anchor Moldova in the European area and to lay the foundations of processes which, once the crises are over, will bring us quicker to the way of development,’’ the prime minister said. At the same time, Gavrilita thanked the former minister, Sergiu Gaibu, for his work at the head of the Economics Ministry and the reforms started.
For his part, Dumitru Alaiba said he relied on the support of the staff in his work. “You are the force behind me – the civil servants from the ministry and the people who work in the sector. We will manage to achieve the results expected by entrepreneurs only together,’’ Alaiba added.
