Chisinau, Nov. 29 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) has set up a guide with recommendations in the case of power outages.
According to the MAI, the recommendations can be applied in cases where citizens are traveling, behind the wheel, in buildings or on the street.
Thus, citizens are urged to avoid using elevators, to use mobile phones only when strictly necessary, to unplug electrical devices and to avoid using open flames as a source of lighting to avoid fires.
At the same time, drivers are advised to adjust their vehicle speed to the traffic conditions and to pay attention to the road, as pedestrians are difficult to notice.
People are also urged to cross the road only at crosswalks, with a flashlight connected and after thorough insurance.
The Border Police recommends that travelers entering and leaving the country inform in advance about the situation at the border crossing points in order to exclude the traffic jams at the posts and the increase of waiting times. They can call 022 259 717 - the Green Line of the Border Police, which is functional around the clock.
The MAI announced that all subdivisions were mobilized to provide support to every citizen. If needed, people are encouraged to call 112.
