Moldovan government approves regulation on work of Energy Vulnerability information system

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet today approved the regulation on the way of organization and work of the Energy Vulnerability information system. The latter establishes the duties and powers as to the keeping, providing and use of the information in the system. The document also sees the criteria and requirements as to the protection of the personal data introduced in the information platform, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.     

The regulation also envisages the procedure of amendment, completion and erasing of the information from the electronic platform, www.compensatii.gov.md. Thus, the applicant will be able to make amendments to the system, only based on an application submitted to the Labour and Social Protection Ministry, in which he/she mentions the reason justifying the carrying out of these operations.   

It is worth mentioning that the Energy Vulnerability information system was set up for providing compensations for energy, depending on the category of families’ energy vulnerability. The system was developed with the financial support of the European Union and the government of Slovakia, provided through the Approaching of the impact of energy crisis in Moldova programme, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova.
