Cabinet approves measures of training in civil protection sector of Moldova for 2023

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the measures of training in the civil protection of Moldova for the 2023 year. The document’s goal is to improve the knowledge and make the skills necessary, in order to prevent and reduce the negative effects of the emergency situations, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

At the same time, the document regulates the control over the implementation of the normative acts in the field of civil protection in the public authorities, administrative and territorial units, enterprises and institutions with any form of property.

The draft will contribute to ensuring the residents’ education for the knowledge of various types of risks, of preventive measures and of the behavior which should be adopted in case emergency situations occur. At the same time, the draft will enhance the level of education in the sector of the public authorities’ representatives and economic operators.     

Thus, the cabinet approved the calendar plan on training in the civil protection field of Moldova for 2023, which establishes the basic measures of training in the civil education sector, as well as the institutions involved in the implementation and the terms of carrying out the activities. Under the plan, practical exercises will be organized as to the liquidation of the consequences of an eventual earthquake, floods and landslides.     

Also, the government approved the plan on completion with unattached students of the republican training centre for the 2023 year, through which decision-makers establish the categories and terms for training in the civil protection field of the people in charge of the organization of the concerned measures in the administrative units.
