Ten thousand of tons of crude oil to be released from state reserves in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Interior Ministry’s (MAI) will release 10,000 tons of crude oil from state reserves, as loan, to the Termoelectrica tock company. The draft was voted at a cabinet meeting today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The burning of the crude oil released will allow continuing the supply of electric and thermal energy to the residents and important social institutions (kindergartens, hospitals, schools), in the conditions of the crisis situation on the energy market and decrease in the deliveries of natural gas to Moldova.
Taking into account that the crude oil will be released as loan, Termoelectrica stock company will commit to return to the state reserves the quantity of crude oil released in the same quantity and the same qualitative indexes, no matter the oscillation of prices, till 1 July 2023.
