Unemployed people who start businesses to benefit from higher subsidies, scholarship of of jobless people studying for professional training to increase in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - The education scholarship provided to unemployed people involved in professional training courses, at the measures of training at the working place and professional probationary, will be increased from 15 to 35 per cent from the average salary on the economy for the year before. The cabinet approved a decision to this effect today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Also, the jobless people willing to become entrepreneurs will benefit from the subsidization of 80 per cent of the expenses needed for starting the business, but not more than 20 average salaries for the previous year. The National Employment Agency (ANOFM) has been earlier compensating 50 per cent of the expenses or not more than 10 average salaries. These measures will be enforced also for starting a business and creating jobs for the people with status of unemployed.
At the same time, the term of employment and keeping of the job by the employers who benefit from the subsidization of costs for the creation or adaptation of the working place for people with disabilities is reduced from 18 to 12 months.
Concomitantly, amendments are made, which will simplify the procedure of getting the licence for the activity of employment of Moldova’s citizens abroad, as well as adjustings regarding the suspension of this licence.
