Moldovan parliament to consider government's proposal on extending emergency state

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will consider the government’s proposal on the extension of the emergency state at a plenary meeting on 1 December. The standing bureau’s members completed the agenda of the plenary meeting.
At the 1 December parliament meeting, the MPs will consider, in the second reading, the draft of Moldova’s Electoral Code and the amendment of the related normative framework, as well as legislative initiatives which regard the work of the Ombudsman. The lawmakers will also discuss a draft law on the fluorinated gas with greenhouse effect, as well as the amendment of more normative acts. Among them, there are the law on the allowances for temporary incapacity for work and other payments of social benefits and the law on several measures related to the selection of the candidates for the position of member in the bodies of self-management of judges and prosecutors.
The parliament’s standing bureau approved the agenda of the plenary meetings for 8-15 December 2022.
