Moldovan deputy premier attends annual meeting of OSCE Ministerial Council

Chisinau, Dec. 1 /MOLDPRES/- Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu leads the Moldovan delegation to the 29th annual meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, held in Poland.
According to the MAEIE, the foreign ministers of the OSCE participating states will review and assess the security situation, as well as discuss the organization's work.
In the afternoon the official will deliver the national speech, and will refer to the dramatic consequences of the brutal Russian aggression against Ukraine and the repercussions for our country; the Transnistrian issue - the withdrawal of Russian troops and ammunition illegally stationed on the territory of our country, the human rights situation in the Transnistrian region; the dynamic agenda of structured reforms aimed at strengthening the irreversible path of accession to the EU", the ministry said.
