Moldovan president meets foreign minister of Japan

Chisinau, Dec. 3 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met on Saturday on the sidelines of her visit to Tokyo with head of Japanese diplomacy Yoshimasa Hayashi.
According to the presidential press service, the dialogue focused on bilateral cooperation and the advancement of the Moldovan-Japanese partnership.
The head of state thanked for the assistance provided in several key areas, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and emphasized that we want, in the future, close relations with the Japanese side.
Maia Sandu said that Japan can help us strengthen our democracy through a stronger and more diverse economy, create more jobs and provide better living conditions for our citizens.
