Christmas tree inaugurated in center of Moldovan capital

Chisinau, Dec. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Christmas tree and a fair dedicated to the winter holidays were inaugurated today in the center of the capital.

A musical-artistic performance with a holiday theme was organized during the event. The tree was installed in the Great National Assembly Square (PMAN), and the Christmas Fair was set up around it, where traditional crafts and handicrafts, themed souvenirs, toys, balloons, and food products will be sold. At the same time, carousels and other fun activities for children were installed in PMAN.

During the winter holidays, Chisinau residents and guests of the capital will be able to take photos with Santa near the tree in PMAN.

On the winter holidays, the public transport units in the capital will be decorated with colored lights, and the decorative lighting will be switched on in the city sectors.
