Supreme Security Council considered risks in national cyber security system

Chisinau, Dec. 20 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu convened the ordinary meeting of the Supreme Security Council (CSS) on Monday to discuss the country's cyber security, the presidential press service has reported.
CSS members considered the way the national cyber security system is organized, as well as the risks and challenges it faces.
The heads of the competent institutions reported on the actions taken to strengthen the state's cyber defense capabilities. They also received recommendations on how to streamline processes related to cyber security, how to reorganize the system for monitoring and responding to cyber attacks.
They also discussed the need to improve the legal framework aimed at this field, as well as how communication and cooperation between state institutions can be improved in this regard.
