During state of emergency, sale and use of pyrotechnic articles prohibited

Chisinau, Dec. 20 /MOLDPRES/- During the state of emergency, the sale and use of pyrotechnic articles is prohibited.

According to the instruction of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), during the state of emergency, the sale and use of pyrotechnic articles, entertainment pyrotechnic articles, stage pyrotechnic articles, firecracker batteries, light firecracker batteries, firecrackers and light firecrackers is prohibited.

An exception to this prohibition is the sale and use of articles that meet the following conditions: their diameter does not exceed 30 mm, pyrotechnic articles of entertainment, which present a very low risk and a negligible noise level and which are intended for use in confined spaces. At the same time, stage pyrotechnic articles can be used which present a low risk and are used only by authorized pyrotechnicians. Similarly, during the state of emergency, the use of fire salvos is prohibited.

The police warn both economic agents specialized in the sale of pyrotechnic articles and individuals that sanctions will be applied for non-compliance with the provisions of the CSE.

The state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova has been extended, starting from December 6, for another 60 days.
