Ialoveni Emergency medical Assistance Sub-station has new headquarters in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Ialoveni Emergency Medical Assistance Sub-station (SAMU) is placed in a new, larger room, which was capitally renovated and endowed with furniture. The inauguration of the sub-station’s new headquarters took place today.
According to the Health Ministry, the sub-station has also a newly built garage, with six boxes for ambulances, where they can be including verified from the technical viewpoint. The sub-station earlier has not had such a garage and the ambulances were standing outdoors.
Also, the sub-station has an alert room, training room, a deposit for preserving medicines, leisure room for employees and dining room.
Presently, 43 people work at SAMU Ialoveni, of whom 12 are medical employees – physicians and medical assistants. Annually, those three teams of emergency medical assistance intervene for more than 9,000 calls by residents from the Ialoveni town and neighbouring settlements.
The cost of the repair works and the ones of arranging the new headquarters was 4.4 million lei, allocated from the state budget.
