Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, in the beginning of a today’s cabinet meeting, informed that the government building would be disconnected from power supply on 29 December, as a token of solidarity with the people of Ukraine, which suffers from Russia’s attacks against its critical infrastructure.
„This is an act of support, through which we express solidarity with Ukraine, showing that we are with the Ukrainian people on this period, who have to bear cold and blackout, because of the bombardments of Russian missiles against the civil infrastructure,’’ the PM said.
Such practices of symbolical disconnection from power supply are enforced by governments of more states.
