Moldovan government approves average salary on economy, forecast for 2023

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The quantum of the average monthly salary on the economy, forecast for 2023, will be of 11,700 lei. The cabinet approved a decision to this end today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The average monthly salary on the economy is used, in order to establish the ceiling of the calculation basis of the social insurances allowances, the monthly insured income of the employees residents of the parks for information technology, as well as the size of the damage which led to fiscal evasion of enterprises, institutions and organizations or the value of the damage inflicted in the case of committing of Criminal Code offences.

Also, based on the average monthly salary, competent people calculate the size of the damages caused to the rights and interests protected by the law of private people or legal entities, in the case of a groundless refusal to issue the permissive act, which led to the restriction of the right to carry out entrepreneurial activity, including the groundless carrying out of controls.
