Moldova's Commission for Emergency Situations approves new decisions

Chisinau, 3 January /MOLDPRES/ - The deadline for the payment of the rights of import by the Moldovagaz stock company of the natural gas transported on the period April-December 2022 has been extended till 31 January 2023. A decision to this end was approved at a today’s meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.        

In the context, the Moldovagaz stock company was exempted from contraventional liability and penalties for the non-observance of the legal provisions of payment of the rights of import related to the natural gas transported during April-October last year.  

Also, CSE extended, till 31 January 2023, the validity term of the environmental permit as to the waste management and of the permission to emit pollutants in atmosphere from fixed sources, issued for the Moldovan Metallurgical Plant from Rabnita.    

The Commission also made adjustings as regards the import of crude oil, oil products, sawdust, waste and wood remains for the fabrication of solid biofuels, in line with the new Combined Classified List of goods, which entered into force on 1 January 2023.
