Young people from Gagauzia sing carols at Moldova's Presidency on eve of old-style Christmas

Chisinau, 5 January /MOLDPRES/ - A group of young people, representatives of the Birth of the Virgin Church from Ceadar-Lunga, south Moldova Gagauz-Yeri autonomy, sang carols at the Moldovan Presidency today. The recital comprised carols sung in four languages: Romanian, Gagauz, Ukrainian and Russian.
According to the presidential press service, President Maia Sandu expressed admiration for the young people who promote the traditions of the winter holidays, as well as the cultural wealth of the ethnic communities which live in Moldova. The head of state wished them a peaceful year, with the achievements they want and good health.
