Roadmen intervened on road segments to combat glazed frost

Chisinau, 9 January /MOLDPRES/- Following the snawfal of the last night, the roadmen intervened on national roads to combat the glazed frost. At present, the roads are passable under winter conditions.
Road workers were involved in Bălți, Dondușeni, Edineț, Ocnița, Orhei, Telenești, Călărași, Strășeni, Căușeni, Cimișlia, Ștefan Vodă and Comrat. As many as 83 roadmen and 79 technical units, with 1030.3 tons of anti-skid material were needed to combat the glazed frost.
According to meteorologists, on 10 January the air temperature will rise to +7 Celsius degrees during the day and -3 degrees at night.
