New Labour and Social Protection Minister of Moldova sworn in office

Chisinau, 10 January /MOLDPRES/ - New Labour and Social Protection Minister Alexei Buzu today was sworn in office in the presence of President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita.
Head of state Maia Sandu wished success to the minister in his subsequent activity. ‘’Alexei Buzu is a recognized specialist in the field. You have to continue a quite ambitious agenda and we rely on your professionalism. The priorities are clear; you have a good team at the ministry, which must be consolidated. We provide you with every support to implement the agenda established,’’ Maia Sandu said.
For her part, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita noted that the ministry’s team was a consolidated one and had managed to implement important policies. ‘’I wish success to Alexei Buzu and I express him gratitude for having accepted the invitation to join the team on a complicated period. You will lead a ministry which has the duty to promote the employment in decent conditions,’’ Natalia Gavrilita said.
Alexei Buzu is specialist in the management of public policies and consultant in international organizations.
Former Labour and Social Protection Minister Marcel Spatari on 9 January submitted an application on resignation, invoking personal reasons.
