Alexandru Flenchea to be appointed head of Moldova's Delegation to Joint Control Commission

Chisinau, 10 January /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s Delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) will have a new head – Alexandru Flenchea. He will be empowered with the coordination of the aspects of keeping peace in the process of settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Alexandru Flenchea has formerly acted as deputy PM for reintegration, having a rich experience in the political sector and peaceful settlement. Also, the head of the Moldovan Delegation to JCC has earlier held diverse positions at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
Moldova’s Delegation to JCC represents the state’s interests and provides multilateral assistance to the process of peaceful settlement and by political means of the conflict in Moldova’s Transnistrian region.
It is worth mentioning that Alexandru Flenchea will also hold the office of Moldovan prime minister’s adviser in the sector of the country’s reintegration policies.
