Winter conditions on Moldovan roads

Chisinau, 12 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Following last night's precipitations, road workers intervened on the country's routes with patrolling and anti-skid work. Currently, road infrastructure accessibility is ensured in winter conditions on the entire network of national roads.

According to the State Road Administration (ASD), 17 workers and 29 special machines were involved in the works to combat the slippery and snow. In total, 138 tons of anti-slip material and 12.5 tons of technical salt were used.

In this context, ASD warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation on equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions. In case of traffic difficulties, to request the intervention of road users, traffic participants can call the following numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.
