Police urge drivers to drive carefully due to low visibility and slippery roads

Chisinau, 12 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- The law enforcement officers have warned drivers that on several sections of the country's road they drive in conditions of fog, sleet and ice.

Press officer of the National Public Security Inspectorate Natalia Golovco said that in the morning hours, there was fog in the northern part of the country, in the center - fog and in the south - ice (the localities of Cahul and Vulcanesti).

Police recommend pedestrians to cross the street only through the permitted places and only after making sure. At the same time, in conditions of reduced visibility and at night, people are urged to wear clothing with reflective accessories to be easily noticed.
