Over 500 diplomas issued in Transnistrian region apostilled

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 518 of neutral-model diplomas, issued by the Taras Shevchenko University from Tiraspol, have been apostilled by Moldova’s competent authorities during five years.

The process started after the approval of the protocol decision, On the application of the apostille on the education acts from the Transnistrian region, from 25 November 2017.

Thus, on the period 2018-2020, 518 neutral-format diplomas were apostilled, with the following most demanded destinations: Italy (104), USA (75), Bulgaria (56), Poland (48), Israel (47), France (33), Austria (25), United Kingdom (20), etc.

The European Union member states represent the main destination for continuing the education (67.96 per cent), followed by the USA (14.48 per cent), Israel (9.07 per cent), United Kingdom (3.86 per cent).
