Moldovan deputy PM pays first visit of 2023 to Dorotcaia, Dubasari district

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, along with Moldovan MP Roman Rosca and representatives of the Reintegration Policies Bureau today paid a working visit to the Dorotcaia village, eastern Dubasari district.
During discussions held with representatives of the local public administration, residents and economic agents from this village, as well as civil servants of the territorial office of the State Chancellery tackled more subjects of interest for the Dorotcaia village, especially as regards the settlement’s development and modernization.
Priority subjects of the discussion represented the issue of the farmlands placed beyond the Camenca-Tiraspol highway, ensuring the free movement through unconditional removal of the obstacles artificially created by Tiraspol, as well as other measures of support provided by the government.
Among the issues considered, there were: the need of the modernization of the education and cultural infrastructure and turning to good account the tourist potential from the community, development of the local infrastructure, backing business initiatives in the rural environment, etc.
The Moldovan officials visited the kindergarten Scufița Roșie ( Little Red Riding Hood) and the Dorotcaia Theoretical Lyceum, which benefited from development projects worth 1.3 million lei, financed from the state budget, through the programme of activities for Moldova’s reintegration for 2022.
It is worth mentioning that, during 2011-2022, the Dorotcaia village benefited from 18 development projects, financed through the aforementioned programme, whose value exceeds 4 million lei.
The subjects and situations ascertained in the settlement remain in the focus of the Reintegration Policies Bureau and Moldova’s competent authorities, in order to intervene with all support forms possible.
