Chisinau, 16 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Failure to register in the Vine and Wine Register could attract administrative sanctions and prevent the sale of grapes for wine production, as well as access to obtaining certain types of subsidies. This was discussed at late last week at a meeting organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry together with the National Office of Vine and Wine.
Winegrowers and winemakers were urged to submit registration applications and declarations online on the website: www.rvv.gov.md. "Any interested person can access the public section of the rvv.gov.md web page to familiarize themselves with the statistics in the wine field. The option is available to filter the information about registered wineries and vineyards (by destination, variety, area, locality, etc.). Thus, the economic agents in the field can find out the real situation regarding the areas of vines and can effectively plan their production potential", explained the relevant ministry.
"We urge the grape producers to conclude contracts with the processors in advance, in order to avoid possible problems with the commercialization of the production at the peak of the season", Minister of Agriculture Vladimir Bolea said.
The Vine and Wine Register of the Republic of Moldova is a system that ensures the transparency of the entire technological process, from commodity grapes to the distribution of the finished product, the record of the assortment of grape varieties, the age of plantations, being offered opportunities for cooperation with grape processors.
