Kindergarten from central Moldova village has new playground

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - A new playground has been set at the kindergarten from the Tiganesti village, central Straseni district. About 257,000 lei (circa 13,000 euros) was invested for this, within a project included in the European Village Programme.

Thus, the play complex, three sand-pits, as well as six benches for children were purchased. At the same time, three cradles, three bow figurines and more toys were bought. The money needed was allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).

According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), the Straseni district benefits from 25 projects within the European Village Programme. Their overall value amounts to 83 million lei. Four of the projects have been already implemented. They envisaged the renovation of the community centre from the Micleuseni village, endowment and renovation of the community centre in the Capriana village, arrangement and rehabilitation of the public space from the central park of the Cojusna village, modernization of the system of streets’ public illumination in the Dolna village.

The European Village National Programme comprises 490 local development projects with an overall value of about two billion lei on the period 2022-2023.
