Euro, U.S. dollar getting cheaper

Chisinau, 24 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- The single European currency and the U.S. dollar will depreciate against the Moldovan leu on Wednesday.

Thus, the dollar will cost 18.90 lei tomorrow, down by 0.03 lei. The euro will cost 20.54 lei.

For the Romanian leu, the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) has established an official exchange rate of 4.17 lei, down by 0.02 lei than today.

According to BNM data, in December 2022, the Moldovan leu depreciated, in average values, by 0.6% in relation to the dollar.
