Moldovan president congratulates Master Nicolae Botgros on 70th birthday anniversary

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has come up with a congratulatory message for Master Nicolae Botgros, after on 25 January she was with the artist, who celebrated his 70th birthday anniversary, the presidential press service has reported.     

„The Master, a living legend of Moldova, is a people’s artist in the true sense of the word. Under the fiddlestick of Nicolae Botgros, our folk music has gained a true academic virtuosity and was heard in all its splendor on important stages of the world,’’ Maia Sandu stressed.  

The head of state also said that the talent of Nicolae Botgros encouraged and raised. Maia Sandu emphasized that the generosity proved by the Master, during years, when he worked at the Lăutarii (The Fiddlers)  orchestra, to discover, to turn to good account and give wings to new talents, is worth being admired. To give a standard, an example of full self-denial to so many generations of artists.    

„Master, you are admired in each home of Moldova. You are much  appreciated abroad as well. We thank you for everything you have done for our country. We wish you happiness for many years from now on, dear Master Nicolae Botgros!’’ President Maia Sandu said in her congratulatory message for the People’s Artist.
