Moldovan Deputy PM has meeting with Ambassador of Russia

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian today had a meeting with Ambassador of Russia to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov. Serebrian reaffirmed Chisinau’s position to find a peaceful solution to the Transnistrian file, based on the observance of Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The officials exchanged opinions on the Chisinau-Tiraspol process of negotiations. The sides noted that, in the second half of next February, a new working meeting of the political representatives would take place in Tiraspol.

Deputy PM Serebrian also tackled the subject on the situation in the Security Zone, referring to the latest incidents in its perimeter, the most recent being the case of minor Chiril A.
