Young people involved in digital transformation of agriculture can get grants of up to 1.5 million lei

Chisinau, Jan 30. /MOLDPRES/- Young people from Moldova can get grants of up to 1.5 million lei (75 thousand euros) for launching digital transformation initiatives in value-added agriculture, wine sector and tourism. The grants are offered under the USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Project in Moldova.
Financial support can be obtained through partnerships between educational institutions and private companies, by integrating young people in transformational digital activities in the target sectors. Grants can be applied for by industry associations, incubators, membership associations, business service providers, educational institutions, public associations and private companies.
The Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Project in Moldova anticipates granting about 7.5 million lei to finance the call. The amount of the grant per beneficiary can vary between 1 million and 1.5 million lei, applicants contributing at least 10% of the total value of the activity.
Activities financed by grants will be planned for a maximum period of 24 months.
