Sewerage system from Causeni district village extended

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ - The sewerage system of the Coscalia village, Causeni district, has been extended and ten million lei was invested to this end. The money was allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL), within the European Village Programme.

Following the implementation of this project, almost 250 households, more economic agents, as well as two public institutions of social and cultural purpose were connected to the sewerage system. Thus, over 2,000 people from this settlement will enjoy better conditions for living.

So far, in the Causeni district, four projects have been implemented from the European Village programme out of those 18 ones selected. A mini-football field was constructed in the Baimaclia commune and a system of public illumination was set in the Ursoaia village. A playground was modernized in the yard of a gymnasium-kindergarten in the Tanatarii Noi village, with almost 207,000 lei invested to this end.

According to the National Office of Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), 62 projects included in the European Village programme have been finished till present, out of all those 490 projects which got financing.
