Winners of last year's 4th edition of Tax Lottery nominated

Chisinau, Feb. 6 /MOLDPRES/- A number of 174 people became winners of the fourth (quarterly) edition of the Tax Lottery contest of 2022. The State Tax Service published the list of winners today.

The winners will receive prizes of 1000 lei each. The money will be transferred to the beneficiaries' card accounts.

According to SFS, the fourth edition of the competition, held on 1 October -31 December 2022 involved 22.4 million bank card transactions, the amount of which was 6.8 billion lei.

The Tax Lottery contest was initiated in 2020. The draws for the winning transactions are carried out based on the information presented by the issuing licensed commercial banks from the Republic of Moldova randomly through the Random.org. platform.

From the launch until now, there is an upward trend in the number of transactions made with bank cards. Thus, if in 2020 their number was 48.4 million transactions, last year 98.1 million transactions were recorded with bank cards.
