Policeman from Criuleni investigated for passive corruption by CNA

Chisinau, Feb. 6 /MOLDPRES/- A non-commissioned officer of the Criuleni Police Inspectorate and one of his accomplices were investigated by CNA and anti-corruption prosecutors in a case of passive corruption.
According to CNA, the two allegedly demanded 250 euros from a driver to release his car, parked at the specialized parking lot.
Under the complaint, the CNA initiated a criminal case for passive corruption, and on Friday found the transfer of money to the accused. The amount of 250 euros was handed over voluntarily, during the search both people were escorted for hearings at the CNA and PA headquarters. After they were charged, they were released, being obliged not to leave the country.
