Performer from Moldova won Grand Prize at international competition for young pianists

Chisinau, Feb. 7 /MOLDPRES/- Young performer from Moldova Elizaveta Coroli won the Grand Prize and the diploma For artistry and inspiration at the 15th edition of Fryderyk Chopin international competition for young pianists, held on 29 January -5 February in Narva, Estonia.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Estonia, the young woman, who is a student at Serghei Rachmaninov Music High School in Chisinau, performed in front of an international jury in the third group of young performers between the ages of 16 and 18, having as competitors 29 other young pianists from 15 countries.
The competition of young pianists in Narva is held every two years. This year, our country was represented for the first time at this music contest.
